Election Finally Over

I get tired of politics pretty quickly, so election time is not my favorite. Nevertheless, the campaigning did provide me with the rare opportunity to photograph a former U.S. president. Here is what Bill Clinton’s stop in Eau Claire looked like from the perspective of a person in the crowd. He was introduced by Ron Kind, who also appears at the podium in one of these photos.

Former President Clinton visited Eau Claire today. I took a few snap shots of the event with my dslr, which I hope to upload soon, but here is the scene from the lens of my phone as we wait for Clinton to arrive.

Here are some snapshots I took while at the Rockerbox motorcycle show in Milwaukee. This was by no means a serious photo session. It was mostly me shooting one handed while holding a Pabst in the other hand. I’m lucky there were any in focus. I liked the creamtone black and white Lightroom preset on these, with a little clarity added for some pop.
