Then I did a little post processing with the built in effects on the phone, and shared it through my WordPress app. Not bad for never using a computer.

It does a surprisingly good job of putting together a clear photo. You just push a button, move the phone in a horizontal path, and push the button again when you are done. The phone automatically creates one long image from multiple exposures. There is some evidence of the blending if you look at the crowd, where people were cut in half or appear more than once. Other than that, I think it turned out pretty well.

This is a timelapse video I created with my Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone. The camera has a neat feature for creating a timelapse video from still pictures automatically. I set it to take a picture every second, and hit record. Then I placed my phone in a sunglasses holder strap on the sun visor in my SUV, and went for a drive. As soon as I stopped the recording, the video was ready to watch. It is pretty amazing that the phone can put together the images that quickly. My guess is that it puts them together at 30 frames per second, meaning 30 seconds of real time is compressed into 1 second on the video. That is why it looks like everything is moving really fast.

I uploaded the video to You Tube from my phone. The music was added using the editing tools on You Tube.
