You Tube Creators Hub

I just found out that You Tube has developed a community page for creators. It looks like there is content on everything from shooting techniques to building an online audience. I am sharing this from my phone so if I find anything really interesting I will create another post and share it later. Until then follow the link and check it out yourself. Let me know in the comments if there is anything worth checking out.

Telephoto Fog

I recently picked up a used Tamron 100-300mm lens for cheap. It may not be a great lens, but for $40 I couldn’t resist. I popped it on my camera, and took a couple snaps through my bedroom window. The only thing out there was a bird feeder, so that became my subject. I wish there had been a bird in it. It was a rainy, foggy winter day. Everything looked gray to begin with, so I converted these to black and white in Lightroom. So far I am enjoying my clunker lens. I think it will come in handy if I ever want to shoot wildlife photos.
